What is it doing: It is a cleansing agent, and an emulsifier. Polysorbate 60 is a surfactant, it attracts and suspends oils, dirt, and other impurities that have accumulated on the skin and washes them away. It also aids penetration of skin care ingredients such as vitamin C.
